Sukhmanch Theatre started in March 2017 under the leadership of dynamic Shilpi Marwaha is probably the first theatre group to have it's theatre festival within first 6 months of it’s inception.
Sukhmanch Summer Theatre festival (Jun - Aug 2017)
Sukhmanch presented stage plays every Sunday in its 3 months of summer theatre festival. The stage plays covered stories and dramas on varied topics from popular writers like Manto, Ismat chugtai, Swadesh deepak etc.
Sukhmanch had its first show of summer festival - Purity on 4th June 2017 showcasing stories by Anton Chekhov, Swadesh deepak and Shilpi Marwaha.
Next Sunday Sukhmanch presented Rajesh Kumar's Tafteesh showing the struggle of a journalist being trapped with fake charges by corrupt system.
When children are on stage with their blossoming smile, they take you for a ride of joy and happiness. Sukhmanch had its first children production on 18th June
A bouquet of heart touching stories in the play “Refugee” was presented by Sukhmanch on 25th June
His stories show the naked truth of our society. Sukhmanch presented stories by one of the most popular writer of our time Saadat Hasan Manto in Manto ke Afsaane on 2nd July
